
Aklan’s Makato town was placed under a state of calamity due to heavy rain and flooding, according to a Saturday 24 Oras Weekend report.
According to local government data, the inclement weather caused P127 million in agricultural damage and P5 million in infrastructure damage.
Some 3,000 families were affected by the ill weather.
