A female Person With Disability (PWD) died when a fire hit a residential building located in Tondo, Manila, according to the report of Darlene Cay on “State of the Nation” on Monday.
The victim, identified as Lovely de Guzman, was not able to go out of the burning building in time.
Her father, Willy, related that he woke them up. He added that there was thick smoke in their place so that he could barely see his surroundings.
Authorities are investigating the incident to determine the cause of the fire.
