An 82-year-old woman was found dead bloodied and with her head bashed inside her residence in Novaliches, Quezon City.
According to Marisol Abdurahman’s report on “24 Oras”, investigators said the victim must have been hit with a stone or with a hard object.
“Posibleng pinukpok ng bato or matigas na bagay na may buha-buhangin pa,” said Police Brig. Gen. Nick Torre, the director of the Quezon City Police District.
Investigation showed that a witness heard noise from the victim’s house and looked inside before reporting what happened.
Police are looking at robbery as a possible motive although there was no sign of forced entry.
Some individuals known to be close to the victim are now considered persons of interest. —NB, GMA Integrated News
