PDP-Laban standard bearer and Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa on Monday met with Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte.
Dela Rosa posted his photo with Mayor Sara on his Facebook account.
Asked for the details of their meeting, Dela Rosa just said, “Secret muna.”
The former top cop of the country said he also reminded Mayor Sara that November 15 was already approaching.
“To remind her that Nov. 15 is fast approaching,” Dela Rosa said in a message.
The Commission on Elections allows candidate substitution until November 15.
In a separate Facebook post, Mayor Sara expressed gratitude to dela Rosa for his words of wisdom.
“Thank you Senator Bato Dela Rosa for your advice and words of wisdom,” Mayor Sara said.
Dela Rosa earlier said he is ready to be substituted and give way to Mayor Sara if the latter decides to run for presidency in the coming elections.
There had been calls for the presidential daughter to run for president but she has since insisted that she wants to have a third term as Davao City mayor. She filed her certificate of candidacy for mayor on October 2. -NB, GMA News
