Bulacan high school teacher accused of molesting, threatening student

A high school teacher in Bulacan was arrested after one of his students accused him of molestation and threatening to fail her if she refused his sexual demands.

According to Marisol Abdurahman’s report on “24 Oras,” the suspect was apprehended in front of the school on Tuesday, October 11 after the family of the 17-year-old victim filed a case against him.

(The professor offered an indecent proposal. He told her he would fail her, and talk to the other teachers to fail her, if she did not give in to him.)

(The teacher filmed her and threatened to post the images on social media to compel her to meet with him or send him pictures.)

The harassment allegedly started in 2020 but the victim’s family only learned of it recently. The teacher also allegedly posted the photos on social media, according to the report.

(I thought my daughter would be safe at school. I thought they were protecting her. But of all people, it was the teacher? I expected him to guide my daughter. But he violated her. )

The suspect denied the allegations, the report said. He is now in police custody and will be facing multiple charges, it added. — Sundy Locus/BM, GMA News
